A lovely clear February morning saw 11 of us set off from Priors Frome, between Dormington and Mordiford, for a walk of about 6 miles on good tracks around Haugh Wood, set in rolling farmland. The weather was good and the chatter was constant so we barely noticed the miles passing and we arrived back at lunch time. Many thanks to Mike C for leading us. Watch out for details of the next HBC hike due on Saturday, 17th March 2018.
It was a slightly drizzly morning but seven of us set off from the beautiful Italianate church at Hoarwithy on a circular 6 mile route on both sides of the Wye. The terrain was varied and fairly level and the chatter more than compensated for the weather and a few stiles to surmount. Lunch was enjoyed in the shelter of the church cloister at the end of the walk. Many thanks to Mike C for leading us.
