Mair and Brian Granthier gave us a very detailed and sometimes moving presentation about Night Shift and how their vision of some 17 years ago has made a real impact on Hereford’s nightlife. On a Saturday night/Sunday morning – from midnight to 3.00am – HBC’s front doors are kept open by a group of volunteers to anyone seeking a quiet haven away from the hustle and bustle along Commercial Road: a warm drink, a quiet chat among friends while waiting for a lift home, a pair of flip flops and an all important toilet stop are just a few things offered. All is done to show that God’s love and care is free for all.

This Month’s Programme

4th December
Liz Donavan – “Christmas Music for Handbells”

Liz and her group have entertained us before. At that time we were given the chance of trying our hands at bell-ringing. Now may be our chance to show how much we have remembered.

11th December
Rev Steve Ansell – “Carol Service”

A bit early for some, but Steve’s engagement with the church’s TotStop group the following week could not be changed.

18th December
Open Morning

A perfect chance perhaps to swap memories of past Christmases .

25th December
No Meeting

Our first meeting in 2020 will be on 8th January.
