One of the highlights in September was a very interesting talk by Mark Bricknell on John Venn Society. John Venn and his sister Emelia did ground-breaking work in establishing guidelines in social care that are still very relevant today.
This month we continue with a Herefordshire theme when Gordon Taylor returns to give us another pictorial insight into the beauty of our county.

This Month’s Programme

2nd October
Gordon Taylor – “Herefordshire and the Borders”

There can’t be many places in Herefordshire that Gordon hasn’t captured with his camera. And there are always surprises waiting for us to discover.

9th October
Jan Scrine – “Afternoon Tea”

Every one of us must be at their best behaviour to be worthy of the etiquette of the tea ritual.

16th October
Open Morning

We can always be assured of contributions from our members: a game, a quiz or a funny anecdote.

23rd October
Annual General Meeting

A time to look back over the past year and to make plans for the coming one.

30th October
Penny Platts – “Iran”

Penny has given us introductions to a number of countries. Her travel in Iran will open another one for us.
