On Tuesday a group of over twenty joined staff and patients in the grounds of the Stonebow Unit for a summer garden party. We sung a selection of well-known secular and Christian songs, ably led by our musicians Jon and Dij Priday, Ollie Bayliss and Jo Pirez. It was good to see both patients and staff joining in with the familiar tunes.

We planted a Mulberry Tree to replace one that had to be removed when the garden renovations took place. There was plenty of food, cold drinks and cups of tea, as well as ice creams and strawberries. It was a great afternoon in the sun shine and an opportunity to share God’s love with both staff and patients.

Thanks go to Brenda, Jerry and Martin for organising the afternoon. We look forward to going back at Christmas and sharing with the Stonebow Unit again.
