The beauty of our county was brought to us last month in Gordon Taylor’s superb presentation A-Z Villages in Herefordshire. 40 minutes of stunning photographs accompanied by well-chosen music – and not a single word spoken. We were truly spell-bound.

Central Story Easter Hunt
The weather meant that things didn’t quite go to plan and with the park a washout, Central Story relocated to the HBC buildings, the rain certainly wasn’t going to stop the fun and intrigue of the Easter Hunt!
With the building bursting with activities and people, families were encouraged to Hunt for a puzzle which pieced together the Easter story. They were rewarded with a science experiment and Central Story explanation. (plus of course the obligatory chocolate egg!)
Malvern Sunshine
HBC hikers met on Saturday 21st April and walked and chatted in lovely sunshine around the south-eastern edge of the Malvern hills from Hollybush to the A449 just below British Camp. There, we lingered at the cafe for ice cream before a short steep climb up to the Herefordshire Beacon (for our group photo) and thence to lunch and back to Hollybush.
Please note that the next walk will start from Kilpeck on Saturday 19th May, coinciding with a certain wedding. But you can record the wedding …
