Brisk Breinton
Brisk in the windchill sense that is, for a well-insulated HBC Hiking group maintained a fairly relaxed pace on a chilly but dry Saturday, 17th March.
We followed a figure of eight course of about 5.5 miles, starting and finishing at Breinton Church. The undulating farmland was varied and interesting and did not test us with any steep climbs.
We finished down by the Wye with a fine view of Belmont Abbey and then an inspection of Breinton Springs. Beano the dog wouldn’t stop for the photo because he was busy running about 5 miles for each one of ours.
A most enjoyable walk and we look forward to our next outing scheduled for Saturday, 21st April.
