Antony & Jo Wareham
Senior Minister – Rev Antony Wareham
Antony joined Hereford Baptist Church as Senior Minister in 2004. After completing training at Spurgeon’s College he pastored churches in Preston and Peterborough. As well as serving in the church Antony is involved in the local community of Hereford and serves as police chaplain. He is married to Joanna, who works alongside him, and they have two children, Luke and Kezia and a pet Cocker Spaniel called Ash. Antony supports QPR, enjoys watching Formula One racing, going to Center Parcs and watching good films! He is passionate about the church being ‘the kind of church God wants and the world needs as we seek first the Kingdom’.
Niels & Carole Waugh
Associate Minister – Rev Niels Waugh
Niels was sent out into ordained ministry from Hereford Baptist Church in 1986, after training at Bristol Baptist College. After pastorates in Norwich (10 years) and Bridgwater (11 years) Niels ‘retired’ back to Hereford in 2007 - but you can see from the website what ‘retirement’ means! He has been married to Carole since 1963 and they have three adult offspring - Robin (married to Sue, with 2 children), Ivan and Shayla. He is keen on DIY and tropical fish and is an armchair sports enthusiast (especially Formula 1, rugby and athletics) - when time permits. Niels is also Treasurer of the Baptist Ministers’ Fellowship. It is great to be back in our sending church and to be able to support the developing ministry and mission here!
Jason & Catherine Borlase
Youth Minister – Rev Jason Borlase
Jason has been called to serve as our youth pastor. He is married to Catherine and they have a son, Joel. After leaving school he worked in the ‘interesting’ world of Commercial Insurance, whilst also being involved in leading youth work at a Baptist church on the Wirral. In June 2009 he completed a Theology degree in Youth Work and Ministry. Jason enjoys football, golf and go-karting as well as being a keen fan of Formula One and Everton FC. He is passionate about seeing young people grow in their faith and walk with God and take their place in the wider ministry of the church.

Leadership
The leadership team is made up of the ministers and elders in the church who provide spiritual oversight and leadership for the whole work, life and mission of the church. Deacons function and serve with a specific task that helps and enables the ministry and mission of the church.
