18-30s Group

Walking through life together

We are a group of adults, aged 18-30(ish!), who meet up around once a month for fellowship. We usually meet at someone’s home for an informal meal together to socialise and get to know each other better. We started out with around 10 on average, but have now grown to well over 20 people attending regularly.

Besides our regular Friday night fellowship meetings we do things like: weekend camping trips, cookouts in the great outdoors, going to films or the theatre, taking walks, pub quizzes, or going to the Common for outdoor games. Several smaller prayer groups and Bible studies have formed as a result of our general fellowship, proof that God is working in our lives through each other!

In September 2008 HBC started a Bible Study group for the 18-30s. As there are several young families in this age group the desicion was taken for the guys and the girls to meet on alternate weeks so as to accommodate babysitting problems. Typically both groups meet on a Monday night at 8pm. During the time together there is some social time to catch up, usually over cakes and hot drinks, a bible study and time for praying together.
